Paycore is a network brand that brings together sector specialist employer of record providers across the UK. We exist because we believe that businesses deserve more than a generic, one size fits all EOR service.
Every industry has unique employment challenges. Construction payroll operates on different rules to healthcare staffing. Technology contractors have different compliance requirements to recruitment agency workers. A single EOR provider cannot realistically be an expert in all of these. So rather than pretending otherwise, we built a network of providers who each specialise in the sectors they know best.
When a business comes to Paycore, we listen to what they need, understand their sector, and match them with the EOR provider in our network best equipped to serve them. That provider becomes the legal employer of the client's workers and takes on full responsibility for payroll, pensions, tax and compliance.
Why We Built Paycore
We saw businesses struggling with two problems. First, they needed an employer of record but did not know which one to trust. The market is crowded, the quality is inconsistent, and it is difficult for an SME to assess which provider has genuine expertise in their sector. Second, the providers that did exist often tried to cover every industry, resulting in a watered-down service that lacked the depth of knowledge needed to handle sector-specific compliance properly.
